Image from globalr🌍 Conserving Biodiversity is Everyone’s Concern! 🌱 GER Rwanda is proud to work alongside with women, youth, and local leaders in conserving biodiversity conservation and resilience to climate. Through forest restoration, tree planting, and awareness campaigns, we aim to inspire behavior change on how communities interact with and respect biodiversity. By integrating environmental education into schools and faith communities, we foster a deeper appreciation for nature and its rights. Recent initiatives include the distribution of eco-friendly stoves in Bugesera, reducing firewood dependency and protecting local forests. Additionally, 3,000 trees were planted in Gasabo, and this quarter, in collaboration with local leaders, GER Rwanda will plant 150,000 seedlings from community nurseries to restore forests in Gasabo, Ruhango, and Bugesera. Special thanks to our partners at Save The Rainforest Sweden for their continued support. Together, we’re building a sustainable, green future!
